The nearby mountains with their lush Alpine pastures, dense woodlands and superb mountain backdrop tempt you to go exploring. Meanwhile, the area is steeped in history, which means there is so much to discover for those who have an interest in culture. Over the river and through the woods.
Lace up your hiking shoes, throw your rucksack over your shoulder and head out on pleasure-filled hikes through the Vinschgau valley. Everyone will find a route to suit them through the wonderful natural surroundings when they head out on leisurely, pleasure-oriented hikes or adventure-packed mountain tours.
Travelling with your bike? Many reasons for joy. Around Latsch there are exciting mountain bike trails and the bike course in Tarsch, as well as the 'Vinschger' cycle track, which is part of the cycle route along the old Roman road, Via Claudia Augusta.

A visit to the archery course close by is not an everyday experience. Accuracy is required here! The two courses ‘Schlegl' and ’Almrausch’ have different characteristics, are at 1,000 and 2,000 m above sea level and are suitable for both beginners and professionals.

In the mood for a bit of culture? Then how abut a trip to the 'marble' village of Laas which is well-known beyond these borders, to the medieval Churburg Castle in Schluderns, to the venerable Marienberg Abbey or to the little historic town of Glurns?
